  1. User Program extension for 3.1 File Manager (ver 1.1)
  2. The File Manager with Windows 3.1 allows extension DLLs to be written.
  3. This particular extension allows you to create a menu with up to 20
  4. user-specified programs that can be run against selected files.
  5. For example, you could have an "Edit File(s)" menu item which would
  6. call up your favourite editor (DOS or Windows), and open the files you
  7. have selected in File Manager.
  8. An easy way to perform certain basic functions on files without having
  9. to set up specific associations.
  10. New for version 1.1: You can specify up to five utilities that will start
  11. up when you run File Manager, and terminate when you exit FileMan.
  12. Great for those "trash can" utilities that are really only useful *while*
  13. FileMan is actually running.
